The ice stadium “ICE RINK PINÈ Srl”
in Baselga di Pinè is situated in the Eastern part of Trentino , only 18 Km away from the main
town, Trento and is at an altitude of 1000 Mt in the splendid
mountain setting of the Italian Alps.
The ice stadium consists of:
- A 30 x 60 Mt indoor track
accessible all year round (open from June to the end of March)
with 1800 places to seat,
- An outside rink with a linear
development of 400 meters for speed skating on ice (open from
November to end of March) and for roller skating (from May to the
end of September).
During winter, the outdoor rink
becomes an olympic artificial track, home to numerous European and
World Cup for speed skating on ice.
In the structure they are to
disposition dressing rooms, massages room, infirmary, bar, meeting
rooms, fitness center, guest rooms, and outdoor parking.
There are many disciplines on offer:
- speed skating,
- ice hockey,
- short track,
- broomball,
- figure skating,
- curling.
Ice Rink Pinè allows speed skating
and short track teams from International Federations to use its
facilities, to train for the next competitions. The Ice Rink Pinè
has special deals with hotels in the area.
“ICE RINK PINÈ Srl” is a
public/private company that has run the “ICE RINK” at Baselga di
Piné since November 2004. “ICE RINK PINÈ Srl” is owned by the
Baselga di Piné Municipality and is the Federal Headquarters of the
F.I.S.G. Federazione Italiana Sport Ghiaccio (Italian Ice Sports
Federation).
